Some people don't think paradise is sitting on a beach for hours doing nothing and find it "boring". I am not one of those people
Worth staying on the west side of the island for these views.

The scale of everything from trees to mountains was amazing and caused great shadows and depth.
There's something magical and spiritual about sunsets. I think its all the colors.

Something in my math mind loves the patterns and symmetry in the repeating columns and steps all around these ruins.
These Mayan ruins are 2 hours from anything else fun (like the beach), but worth the trip.
