Patterns in Static are thrilled to announce the release of the long awaited album from Adelaide instrumentalists The Silvermine Tapes.

Combining stunning, melodic soundscapes with a brooding and sometimes explosive approach, the album, entitled 'A Tenuous Thread', was completed three years ago, but has lain dormant since then. Infact, the whole process has been a slow one, with recording taking place sporadically over a period of around two years at Big Sound Studios in the scenic Adelaide Hills.
